This market will resolve to "Yes" if the winner of BLAST Open Porto 2026, currently scheduled for August 26 to September 6, 2026, is a team that has never previously won a Counter-Strike event organized by BLAST. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No". A prior BLAST event win means a first-place finish by the same organization in any completed Counter-Strike tournament organized by BLAST before the start of BLAST Open Porto 2026, including BLAST Pro Series, BLAST Premier (including its World Finals and other BLAST Premier events), BLAST Bounty, BLAST Open, BLAST Rivals, and any Major championship organized by BLAST. Open, regional, or national qualifiers for BLAST events and show matches will not be considered. Prior wins attach to the organization regardless of roster changes; a win recorded under a different organization by players who later joined the winning team will not count as a prior win for that team. If BLAST Open Porto 2026 is cancelled, postponed beyond September 20, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or no winner is declared within that timeframe, this market will resolve 50-50. The primary resolution source for this market will be HLTV.org; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.**The heavy 85% implied probability on "No" for a first-time BLAST champion at Open Porto 2026 stems from a field stacked with proven BLAST winners and recent title holders.** Top contenders Spirit (#1 VRS, fresh off PGL Astana victory), Vitality (defending Open champions), and MOUZ (recent Bounty winners) all enter with prior BLAST success and strong current form. Falcons, the other co-favorite after their IEM Cologne Major win, feature a stacked roster including NiKo and karrigan with extensive high-level experience. While lower-ranked teams like FURIA or 9z could produce upsets in the single-elimination bracket, trader consensus views the combination of VRS rankings, recent results, and roster depth as making a repeat champion the far likelier outcome.
