Bayern Munich enter the 2026-27 Bundesliga as two-time defending champions with overwhelming pre-season expectations for another title and near-certain Champions League qualification, backed by their attacking depth including Harry Kane. Borussia Dortmund's perfect start to the campaign has them atop the table after four matchweeks, reinforcing their status as the primary challengers for a top-four finish. SC Freiburg's strong opening results have injected early surprise into the race, while Bayer Leverkusen, RB Leipzig, and VfB Stuttgart remain key contenders for the remaining European places amid fixture congestion from their own continental schedules. The 34-match marathon, with its typical late-season shifts in form and squad rotation, will ultimately decide the top-four or five spots that secure 2027-28 league-phase berths.

Resolution is based on the competition to which the listed team is allocated by the final 2026-27 Bundesliga standings, the 2026-27 domestic cup results, and the 2026-27 UEFA competition winners. A place obtained by playing and advancing through the UEFA qualifying rounds held after the domestic season does not count, and movement between competitions caused by those qualifying rounds has no bearing on resolution.
Once it becomes mathematically impossible for the listed team to earn a 2027-28 UEFA Champions League place by these routes, the associated market will immediately resolve to "No".
If the 2026-27 Bundesliga season is cancelled or postponed past June 6, 2027, 11:59 PM ET such that the 2027-28 UEFA Champions League places cannot be determined, this market will resolve to "No".
The resolution source for this market will be official information from UEFA and/or the Bundesliga; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
