AZ Alkmaar’s early defensive organization and league-leading position after seven matches underpin its 44% implied probability, with three clean sheets and just six goals conceded reflecting structured backline play and goalkeeper contributions. Fortuna Sittard’s 36.5% share reflects trader views on its compact mid-block and transition threats despite conceding 14 goals, while Ajax, Feyenoord, and PSV sit close behind at 32%, 30%, and 22.5% on the strength of squad depth, historical clean-sheet rates, and fixture schedules that reward organized defenses. The tight clustering stems from comparable early-season records among several clubs, variable attacking outputs across the league, and the long horizon allowing momentum shifts or injuries to reshape standings before May.
