This market will resolve to "Yes" if Graham Platner or his spouse announce their intention to divorce, announce a completed divorce, or file for divorce, by October 31, 2026, 11:59 PM ET. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No". An announcement of their intention to divorce will be sufficient for a "Yes" resolution, regardless of whether the divorce later actually occurs, or whether the actual divorce occurs outside of the timeframe of this market. Announcements of separations will not alone qualify. If Graham Platner or his spouse officially file for divorce without such an announcement, a consensus of credible reporting that the filing has occurred will be sufficient for a “Yes” resolution. The resolution source will be statements from Graham Platner, his spouse, and their official representatives; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.**Trader consensus on "No" at 95.7% reflects the absence of any public signals of separation or divorce proceedings following Graham Platner's July 2026 withdrawal from the Maine Senate race.** His wife, Amy Gertner, has repeatedly affirmed the marriage's strength in statements and videos, describing it as "stronger than ever" after they addressed early indiscretions through counseling. The couple continues to co-own and operate their oyster business in Sullivan, Maine, with no reported filings, announcements, or indications of marital dissolution since the 2023 wedding. Recent profiles and updates, including through late August 2026, maintain their married status without noting changes. The short roughly 60-day window to October 31 further supports low odds of a finalized divorce. While a sudden private filing remains theoretically possible, the lack of prior indicators or public strain makes such an outcome highly unlikely under current conditions.
