If the 2026 K League 2 season is cancelled, postponed after December 31, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or there are no teams confirmed for promotion within that timeframe, the corresponding market will resolve to "No". The primary resolution source will be official announcements from the K League 2 and K-League. A consensus of credible reporting may also be used.**Suwon Samsung Bluewings lead the 2026 K League 2 table with 47 points from 23 matches (14 wins, 5 draws, 4 losses), holding a four-point cushion over second-place Suwon FC.** They boast the league's stingiest defense (20 goals conceded) alongside strong attacking output, positioning them strongly for one of the two automatic promotion spots to K League 1 in 2027. Suwon FC, Daegu FC, and Seoul E-Land remain tightly bunched on 40–43 points, with Hwaseong FC and Busan IPark just behind in the promotion playoff zone (3rd–6th). The expanded format sends the top two up directly while the playoff winner also ascends, keeping the race competitive through the final 10–11 rounds. Recent results have seen the leaders maintain form without major disruptions from injuries or roster changes.
