Early in the 2026-27 Ligue 1 campaign, after four matchweeks, Strasbourg sits sixth and currently occupies the Conference League play-off spot, level on points with teams just behind in the tightly packed mid-table. Lille, Monaco, and Rennes lead the table and hold Champions League positions, while Paris FC and Lyon occupy Europa League spots. The exact Conference League allocation depends on the Coupe de France winner’s final league position, with the spot shifting to seventh if the cup victor finishes inside the top six. With over thirty matchweeks remaining, recent form, injury updates to key squad members, and head-to-head results among Strasbourg, Brest, Lorient, Lens, and similar sides will determine which club secures the European berth. Home and away splits plus schedule congestion from domestic cups add further variables.

Resolution is based on the competition to which the listed team is allocated by the final 2026-27 Ligue 1 standings, the 2026-27 domestic cup results, and the 2026-27 UEFA competition winners. A place obtained by playing and advancing through the UEFA qualifying rounds held after the domestic season does not count, and movement between competitions caused by those qualifying rounds has no bearing on resolution.
Once it becomes mathematically impossible for the listed team to earn a 2027-28 UEFA Conference League place by these routes, the associated market will immediately resolve to "No".
If the 2026-27 Ligue 1 season is cancelled or postponed past June 12, 2027, 11:59 PM ET such that the 2027-28 UEFA Conference League places cannot be determined, this market will resolve to "No".
The resolution source for this market will be official information from UEFA and/or Ligue 1; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
