The Hungarian NB I title race is expected to be dominated by defending champions Győri ETO and Ferencváros, leaving a crowded battle for third place among a group of teams with comparable squad depth and recent form. After eight matchdays in the 2026-27 campaign, Puskás Akadémia, Vasas, Újpest, and Paksi have posted strong results alongside the top two, while Nyíregyháza, MTK, and Debrecen remain within striking distance on points. European commitments for Győr and Ferencváros introduce scheduling strain that could open opportunities lower in the table, and the league’s history of tight mid-table clusters and late surges keeps implied probabilities tightly bunched. Trader consensus reflects this parity, with no side holding a decisive edge in roster stability or momentum this early.
