The 2026 Big 12 rushing yards race remains tightly bunched in trader pricing because the season is only in its opening weeks, with no back having established a commanding lead amid varied early workloads and team offensive balances. Returning standouts like LJ Martin at BYU, Cameron Dickey at Texas Tech, Wayshawn Parker at Utah, Cam Cook at West Virginia, and Caleb Hawkins at Oklahoma State enter with strong 2025 production and favorable schemes, yet transfers, committee approaches, and quarterback-designed runs (such as at BYU and Utah) have kept early stats competitive. Depth across multiple programs, combined with injury risks and schedule variance, sustains the broad distribution of implied probabilities as bettors await clearer separation over the full campaign.
