The 2026 Big Ten rushing touchdowns race remains tightly bunched early in the season because multiple programs deploy committees or feature backs with comparable workloads and red-zone opportunities. Early statistical leaders such as Wayne Knight, Fame Ijeboi, Cam Edwards, and King Miller have posted multi-touchdown outings through Week 3, yet small sample sizes and non-conference schedules limit separation. Returning or portal-added backs including Jordan Marshall, Darius Taylor, Jordon Davison, Dierre Hill Jr., Bo Jackson, and Turbo Richard bring proven production or high-upside profiles from prior campaigns, while depth at Ohio State, Oregon, Michigan, and Rutgers creates shared carries that dilute individual ceilings. Trader consensus reflects these balanced situations, injury risks, and the extended conference schedule still ahead.
