This market will resolve to "Yes" if the listed team is determined as the champion of the NHL for the 2026-27 season. Otherwise, it will resolve to "No". If at any point it becomes impossible for a listed participant to be named as the champion of NHL for the 2026-27 season per the rules of NHL (e.g., participant is eliminated), the corresponding market will resolve to "No". If multiple teams are declared winners, this market will resolve in favor of the team whose listed name comes first alphabetically. If this event is cancelled, postponed after June 30, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, or a champion has not been declared within this timeframe, this market will resolve to "Other". The resolution source will be official information from the NHL; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used. The tightly bunched probabilities for the 2027 NHL champion reflect broad parity across the league heading into the 2026-27 season, with no single team holding a decisive edge after the conclusion of the prior campaign. Recent roster turnover, including free-agent signings and draft selections, has reshuffled contention windows for clubs like the Panthers, Hurricanes, Avalanche, and Oilers, while injury recoveries and coaching adjustments add further uncertainty. Historical patterns show that deep playoff runs and strong regular-season records often reset expectations, yet the wisdom of crowds in this market highlights how salary-cap constraints, goaltending stability, and conference balance can quickly shift implied probabilities as training camps open and preseason form emerges.
