This market will resolve according to the team that wins the Eastern Conference Finals for the 2027 Stanley Cup Playoffs. If at any point it becomes impossible for a listed team to win the 2027 Eastern Conference Finals per the rules of NHL (e.g., they are eliminated in the playoffs), the corresponding market will resolve to “No”. If the 2027 NHL season is cancelled, postponed after June 30, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, or there is otherwise no winner declared within that timeframe, this market will resolve to “Other”. The primary resolution source will be official information from NHL; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used. The 2026-27 NHL Eastern Conference race remains tightly bunched among the Florida Panthers, Carolina Hurricanes, and Tampa Bay Lightning because these clubs enter the season with comparable roster depth, strong goaltending options, and recent playoff pedigrees that sustain trader expectations for a deep run. Carolina’s core stability after its 2026 championship, paired with Florida’s splashy offseason additions and Aleksander Barkov’s return, keeps both sides in the 20-plus percent range, while Tampa’s veteran core and Nikita Kucherov-led offense support its solid positioning. A balanced Atlantic and Metropolitan landscape, modest free-agency shifts, and the inherent variability of an 82-game schedule plus injuries sustain the compressed probabilities across the top group, with mid-tier teams like the Capitals and Flyers holding realistic paths on the fringes.
