The 2026-27 Primeira Liga season's early stages and extensive roster turnover have produced a tightly bunched market for the team with the most clean sheets, where Estrela da Amadora holds a marginal edge in trader consensus amid broadly similar implied probabilities for nearly every side. Porto's perfect defensive start—three clean sheets in three league matches under a system emphasizing organization and goalkeeper stability—provides one benchmark, yet Sporting CP, Benfica, Braga, and mid-table sides like Santa Clara and Vitória de Guimarães all retain comparable potential after limited fixtures and ongoing transfer activity. With no team having established clear separation after just a handful of rounds in a 34-match campaign, factors such as variable fixture difficulty, injury management, and the potential for form swings or set-piece vulnerabilities keep outcomes highly uncertain. This results in a competitive field where historical defensive records offer limited predictive value and the wisdom of crowds assigns near-equal weight to a wide range of realistic contenders.
