**Porto lead the 2026-27 Primeira Liga after seven rounds with a perfect 21 points and a five-point cushion over Benfica following their 3-1 Clássico victory on September 20, where goals from Gabri Veiga, Victor Froholdt, and Hwang In-beom ended Benfica’s 55-game unbeaten league run.** Sporting CP sit third on 15 points, level with surprise package Santa Clara. Portugal’s improved UEFA coefficient grants the top three teams Champions League spots for 2027-28—two direct to the league phase and one via qualifying—intensifying the race among the traditional big three. Porto’s defensive solidity and attacking output have driven early trader sentiment, though the 34-match campaign leaves ample room for shifts from form, injuries, or European commitments.

Resolution is based on the competition to which the listed team is allocated by the final 2026-27 Primeira Liga standings, the 2026-27 domestic cup results, and the 2026-27 UEFA competition winners. A place obtained by playing and advancing through the UEFA qualifying rounds held after the domestic season does not count, and movement between competitions caused by those qualifying rounds has no bearing on resolution.
Once it becomes mathematically impossible for the listed team to earn a 2027-28 UEFA Champions League place by these routes, the associated market will immediately resolve to "No".
If the 2026-27 Primeira Liga season is cancelled or postponed past May 31, 2027, 11:59 PM ET such that the 2027-28 UEFA Champions League places cannot be determined, this market will resolve to "No".
The resolution source for this market will be official information from UEFA and/or the Primeira Liga; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
