This market will resolve in favor of the team that finishes the 2026-27 NFL regular season with the most interceptions. In the event of a tie, this market will resolve in favor of the tied team with more passes defended during the 2026-27 NFL regular season. If a tie still persists, this market will resolve in favor of the team with fewer total yards allowed per game (total yards allowed divided by games played) during the 2026-27 NFL regular season. If a tie still persists, this market will resolve to “Other”. If the 2026-27 NFL season concludes early, is shortened, or is truncated for any reason, the outcome shall be determined using available NFL statistics for completed games. If the 2026-27 NFL regular season is cancelled, postponed after January 26, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, or it is unclear which team led the NFL in interceptions within that timeframe, this market will resolve to “Other”. The resolution source for this market will be official information from the NFL; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used. The 2026 NFL interceptions leader market remains tightly contested across numerous teams because team turnover totals are highly variable year to year, driven by opponent quarterback play, scheme fit, and random bounces rather than any single roster's dominance. Early September positioning shows no clear frontrunner, with the Broncos, Chargers, and Texans holding only single-digit implied probabilities amid broader dispersion, reflecting the wisdom of crowds on defensive volatility entering Week 1. Recent offseason additions like the Cowboys' first-round safety Caleb Downs and returning playmakers on squads such as the Texans and Lions have kept multiple secondaries in contention, while historical patterns confirm that league-leading totals frequently shift with schedule strength and coverage disguises. Preseason results and training camp reports have not separated contenders, underscoring how quickly injuries or matchup luck can reshape the leaderboard.
