Both teams enter the 2026 season as NFC West contenders with strong 2-0 starts, making a split in their October and November matchups the leading trader consensus at 43.5 percent implied probability. The 49ers have absorbed multiple wide receiver injuries early, including season-ending losses for Ricky Pearsall and extended absences for De’Zhaun Stribling and Demarcus Robinson, testing depth behind Mike Evans and Christian McCaffrey despite the return of key defenders like Fred Warner and Nick Bosa. The defending Super Bowl champion Seahawks maintain roster continuity under Mike Macdonald and boast an elite defense, though they monitor quarterback Sam Darnold’s lower-body status and other early ailments. Head-to-head history and home/away splits add further uncertainty to outright series outcomes, keeping probabilities tightly bunched.
