The closely contested 2026 Rams-49ers season series reflects balanced NFC West talent and the 49ers' 27-7 Week 1 victory in Australia, where Brock Purdy, Mike Evans, and a revamped front seven under Raheem Morris limited Matthew Stafford and neutralized additions like Myles Garrett. The Rams' depth, anchored by Puka Nacua, Davante Adams, and defensive reinforcements including Aaron Donald's return, positions them for a strong response in the December rematch at Levi's Stadium. Injury management for Nick Bosa, George Kittle, and other veterans on both sides, combined with travel fatigue from the international opener and typical divisional parity, keeps the implied probabilities for a series tie or 49ers sweep nearly even according to trader consensus.
