Both the Philadelphia Eagles and Washington Commanders enter the 2026 NFL season with significant roster turnover and coordinator changes that have created uncertainty around their head-to-head matchups. The Eagles traded away A.J. Brown and installed a new offensive coordinator in Sean Mannion, raising questions about Jalen Hurts' adjustment to under-center concepts and replacing Brown's production with additions like Dontayvion Wicks. The Commanders, in Dan Quinn's third year, face a demanding early schedule yet carry momentum from recent divisional play, including a 2025 victory over Philadelphia. With both clubs viewed as NFC East contenders but carrying parallel question marks on offense and defense, traders see a strong likelihood of a split in the two regular-season games, reflected in the near-even implied probabilities across Eagles, Commanders, and tie outcomes.
