This market will resolve to "Yes" if any player makes a field goal of more than 68 yards during the 2026-27 NFL regular season, thereby breaking the NFL record for the longest field goal made. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No". The NFL record for the longest field goal made is 68 yards, set by Cam Little in Week 9 of the 2025 NFL regular season. Matching the record exactly will not be sufficient; a player must make a field goal of 69 yards or longer for this market to resolve to "Yes". The field goal must be made; missed, blocked, and aborted attempts do not count. Only regular season games count. Playoff games, including Wild Card, Divisional, Conference Championship, and Pro Football Championship games, do not count. Preseason and postseason field goals do not count. If the 2026-27 NFL regular season is shortened, truncated, or ends early for any reason, the outcome shall be determined using available official data for completed games. If the 2026-27 NFL regular season is cancelled, postponed after January 26, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, or it cannot be determined whether any player made a field goal longer than 68 yards within that timeframe, this market will resolve to "50-50". The resolution source for this market will be official information from the NFL; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.**Cam Little’s 68-yard NFL record from 2025, along with his 67-yarder the same season, has reset expectations for long-range kicking, yet the market prices a 61% chance the mark falls again in 2026-27.** Strong-legged specialists including Little, Brandon Aubrey, and Harrison Butker have repeatedly shown 65-plus capability in games and preseason, while league-wide trends show rising attempt volume and success rates from 60 yards and beyond—12 makes from that distance occurred in 2025 alone. Altitude advantages at venues like Denver provide measurable extra distance, and end-of-half or overtime situations create realistic windows for 69-plus attempts. Official injury reports show no major setbacks among top kickers entering Week 2, preserving roster stability and leg strength for the full schedule. Trader consensus reflects these evolving mechanics and opportunity sets without guaranteeing outcomes in an inherently variable sport.
