This market will resolve to “Yes” if the NFL announces and holds an officially designated supplemental draft in 2026. Otherwise, this market will resolve to “No”. If the NFL announces a supplemental draft, but the draft does not take place by December 31, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, this market will resolve to “No”. The resolution source for this market will be official information from the NFL; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used. The closely balanced odds around a 2026 NFL supplemental draft reflect uncertainty over whether Texas Tech quarterback Brendan Sorsby’s pending eligibility application will receive league approval before the June 22 deadline. The supplemental draft is held only when the NFL clears special-eligibility prospects who missed the regular April draft, a process last used in 2023 with no selections and last producing a pick in 2019. Sorsby’s gambling-related NCAA issues and ongoing legal developments have prompted his entry bid, yet the league must still review his petition and any associated conduct concerns before scheduling a summer draft. Recent team interest in quarterback depth could support approval if cleared, while a denial or lack of other qualified applicants would likely keep the event from occurring.
