Several elite attacking sides have opened the 2026/27 UEFA Champions League league phase with emphatic wins, keeping the race for most goals tightly bunched among Barcelona, Bayern Munich, PSG, and surprise starter Como. PSG’s 6-1 rout featuring Ferran Torres’s hat-trick, Bayern’s 5-0 demolition, and Barcelona’s 5-1 thrashing highlighted their depth in forward options and transition play. High average goals per game (3.83 on Matchday 1) and favorable upcoming fixtures against lower-ranked sides amplify scoring potential across multiple clubs. Trader consensus reflects this parity, with no single team establishing clear dominance after one round in the eight-match format.
