The UEFA Conference League league phase begins October 15 with 36 clubs each contesting six matches, creating a wide-open race for most clean sheets where no side holds a decisive edge. Trader pricing clusters tightly because domestic defensive records, squad rotation patterns, and fixture mixes offer comparable prospects across established sides like Brighton, Atalanta, and Ajax alongside debutants and mid-tier clubs. Variables such as home/away splits, opponent attacking quality, and potential injuries or tactical shifts further compress probabilities, preventing any single team from separating in pre-season assessments. Historical league-phase data shows clean-sheet tallies rarely exceed four or five even for stronger defenses, reinforcing the bunched market outlook.
