Legislative elections are schedule to be held in Israel on October 27, 2026. This market will resolve to the next individual who is officially appointed and sworn in as Prime Minister of Israel following the 2026 parliamentary election. If an election is called early, this market will immediately resolve to the individual who is officially appointed and sworn in after that election. To count for resolution, the individual must be formally sworn in. Any interim or caretaker Prime Minister will not count toward the resolution of this market. If no such Prime Minister is sworn in by December 31, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, this market will resolve to “Other”. The primary resolution source for this market will be official information from the Government of Israel; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.**Gadi Eizenkot leads the market at 52.8% because recent polls show his new Yashar party frequently edging Likud as the largest faction ahead of the October 27 Knesset election, positioning him as the strongest alternative to form a governing coalition.** Voter sentiment has shifted toward the former IDF chief of staff on security credentials and perceived independence from the current government’s handling of the post-October 2023 conflicts. Benjamin Netanyahu trails at 28.5% as his Likud bloc hovers near or below 55 projected seats in most surveys, with traders pricing in persistent coalition arithmetic challenges despite his core right-wing support. Naftali Bennett at 8.0% reflects the limited lift from his Together merger with Yesh Atid, while smaller contenders such as Avigdor Lieberman remain marginal. Recent candidate list filings and bloc projections underscore the fragmented Knesset, where post-election negotiations will determine the prime minister.
