This market will resolve to "Yes" if the team winning 1st place at the Demacia Cup Global Invitational 2026, currently scheduled for October 3 to October 17, 2026, is a Western team. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No". A Western team is a team that qualified for the tournament through the LEC (Europe / EMEA), the LCS (North America), or the CBLOL (Brazil). Teams that qualified through the LCK (South Korea), the LPL (China), or the LCP (Asia-Pacific) are not Western teams. If the winner of the Demacia Cup Global Invitational 2026 is not determined by October 31, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or the tournament is canceled or postponed past that date, this market will resolve to "No". The resolution source for this market will be official information from the tournament organizers, TJ Sports and Huya. However, a consensus of credible reporting (e.g., Liquipedia at https://liquipedia.net/leagueoflegends/Demacia_Cup_Global_Invitational/2026) may also be used.**Eastern regional depth and historical dominance in international competition underpin the 61% trader consensus that no Western team will win the 2026 Demacia Cup Global Invitational.** The 12-team field, drawn from non-Worlds squads, grants LPL and LCK three mid-tier seeds each (typically 5th–7th place), while LEC and LCS receive only two (4th–5th) and LCP/CBLOL one apiece. LPL and LCK rosters maintain superior talent pools, macro execution, and individual mechanics even at this level, as evidenced by consistent outperformance against Western sides in prior cross-regional events. Western participants also confront travel demands and an offline knockout stage hosted in Beijing, where LPL teams benefit from home-environment familiarity. These structural and performance gaps shape the implied probability that an LCK or LPL squad claims the title.
