Raul Brancaccio holds a clear edge over Tyler Zink in this Geneva Open qualifying match on outdoor red clay, thanks to superior recent form and ranking. The 29-year-old Italian, currently ranked near 240 after a career-high of 121, captured the Menorca Challenger title in April 2026 and posted a 9-6 clay record this season following improved results in 2026. Zink, a 25-year-old American ranked around 298 with a career best of 278, enters with just 5 wins from 12 matches in 2026 and a notably weak 2-7 clay mark from the prior year. Brancaccio’s greater experience on the surface, combined with his stronger head-to-head potential against lower-ranked opponents, shapes the competitive dynamic ahead of the May 16 opener.
