Alexis Galarneau entered the ATP Challenger Busan round of 32 as the higher-ranked player at No. 192 against Kaichi Uchida at No. 243, driving trader consensus toward the Canadian on hard courts where he posted stronger recent form, including Challenger deep runs and a prior straight-sets win in their 1-1 head-to-head. Uchida, experienced in the Asian swing, struggled with early exits in Gwangju and prior events, lacking momentum despite no reported injuries for either. The April 14 outdoor match featured no weather disruptions or late withdrawals, emphasizing Galarneau's serve and return edges in previews; no notable developments have emerged in the past 30 days since his 6-4, 7-5 victory resolved the market.
