Keegan Smith, the top seed and higher-ranked American at ATP 289, faces Australian Philip Sekulic in the Bengaluru 2 Challenger final on hard courts. Smith arrives after a straight-sets semifinal win over Ilya Ivashka, extending a strong recent run that includes multiple victories on the surface. Sekulic, seeded fourth at ATP 357, dominated wildcard Kriish Tyagi 6-0, 6-2 in his semifinal but holds a slightly less consistent 2026 record overall. With no prior head-to-head meetings, the matchup highlights Smith’s edge in ranking, form, and experience on hard courts against Sekulic’s solid recent results and aggressive baseline play. Both players are competing for their first Challenger title of the season, adding motivation in this decisive encounter.
