Giovanni Mpetshi Perricard holds a clear edge as the No. 6 seed and higher-ranked player at No. 58 over Aleksandar Vukic (No. 99) in this ATP Challenger Bordeaux round-of-16 clash on clay. The 22-year-old Frenchman benefits from home-crowd support, a 201cm frame aiding his powerful serve, and stronger 2026 form with recent Challenger wins, including a straight-sets first-round victory here. Vukic, 30 and 2-5 YTD entering the event, scraped past Rinky Hijikata in three sets in round one but struggles on clay amid a winless streak in prior tournaments. No head-to-head history exists; traders weigh Perricard's momentum and surface familiarity against Vukic's experience, though upsets remain possible on outdoor clay with variable conditions.
