Recent Emmy nominations have intensified competition in the supporting actor drama category, with “The Pitt” securing three slots for Patrick Ball, Shawn Hatosy, and Gerran Howell amid the show’s dominant critical and guild buzz. Billy Crudup brings proven frontrunner momentum from his prior win on “The Morning Show,” while Jack Lowden’s consistent “Slow Horses” acclaim, Tom Pelphrey’s “Task” breakout, and Carlos-Manuel Vesga’s “Pluribus” recognition create a crowded field. Trader consensus reflects vote-splitting risks among “The Pitt” contenders and the absence of decisive precursor results this early, with the September ceremony and any late-season surges poised to shift implied probabilities.
