Recent cooling from a weak cold front and upper-level trough has driven trader focus on Wuhan's September 18 low, with official Chinese forecasts indicating a 20–25°C daily range amid lingering light rain and northerly winds. Model consensus from sources like the Wuhan Meteorological Observatory and regional guidance centers points to a minimum near 19–20°C, reflecting post-frontal stabilization, yet slight variations in rain timing or clearing could allow readings near or below 19°C or push toward the mid-20s if skies clear faster. This uncertainty, combined with historical September variability in the Jianghan Plain, keeps the market closely balanced across the 14°C-or-below, 19°C, and 24°C-or-higher bins as traders weigh the latest observational updates and forecast revisions ahead of overnight resolution.
