This market will resolve “Yes” if the listed nation advances to the Knockout Stage of the 2026 FIFA World Cup. If at any point it becomes impossible for the listed nation to advance to the Knockout Stage (e.g. they are mathematically eliminated), the associated market will resolve to "No". If the 2026 FIFA World Cup competition is cancelled, postponed after July 12, 2026, 11:59 PM ET or the 2026 FIFA World Cup Round of 32 matchups have not been declared within that timeframe, this market will resolve to “No”. The resolution source for this market will be official information from FIFA; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used. The 2026 FIFA World Cup group stage features 48 teams divided into 12 groups of four, with the top two finishers from each group plus the eight best third-placed sides advancing to the round of 32. Early matches on opening day, including co-host Mexico against South Africa and the United States facing Paraguay, set initial momentum through points, goal difference, and goals scored that feed directly into tiebreaker calculations. Squad depth, recent international form, and home-soil advantages for the three hosts shape trader views on advancement probabilities, while injury updates and starting XI confirmations from official team sheets influence perceptions of key group contenders. The expanded format increases the value of consistent results across three fixtures, with stronger historical performers and higher-ranked sides favored to secure one of the 32 knockout berths.
