Recent Berlin polling shows Die Linke holding a narrow lead near 22 percent, placing it just ahead of the CDU amid a fragmented field that includes the Greens, SPD, and AfD. With the September 20, 2026, Abgeordnetenhaus vote six weeks away, proportional seat allocation remains sensitive to small shifts in turnout and second preferences. The party’s current 20 seats reflect its 2023 result, yet ongoing competition for left-leaning voters and the CDU’s modest gains under its new candidate keep projected totals clustered between roughly 30 and 40. Fresh surveys, coalition signaling, or late campaign developments on housing and fiscal issues could widen the distribution across the listed ranges.
