Current National Weather Service and ensemble model guidance points to a mostly sunny Sunday in Atlanta with a daytime high near 90°F under light west-northwest winds and only a 20-30% chance of afternoon showers. This consensus places the most likely outcome squarely in the 90-91°F bin, which holds the highest market-implied probability. The reading would sit several degrees above the late-September climatological average of 84°F, though well below the date’s all-time record of 98°F. Limited model spread and stable steering patterns reduce the odds of a significantly warmer or cooler result, keeping 92-93°F as a secondary possibility while compressing probabilities for outcomes outside 88-93°F. Final NWS observations tomorrow evening will determine resolution.
