Current forecasts from sources including WeatherBug and Weather Atlas place Austin's September 2 high near 99°F under mostly sunny skies with light southerly flow and no significant frontal passage expected. This consensus positions the 98-99°F bin as the leading market outcome at 43.5% implied probability, followed by 96-97°F, reflecting typical late-summer conditions where daily highs average around 94°F but recent model runs show slight warming from persistent high pressure and elevated dew points. The 100-101°F tier at 24% captures upside risk from localized heating or minor forecast adjustments, while lower bins remain discounted absent any cooling trend in the latest runs. Traders appear to weigh the tight clustering of guidance around the upper 90s against the inherent 2-4°F uncertainty range in 24-48 hour temperature predictions.
