**Clear, sunny conditions under high pressure are positioning Seattle for a high temperature in the mid-70s on September 17, 2026, aligning closely with the market’s leading 74-75°F outcome (50.5% implied probability).** National Weather Service and multiple model outputs (including GFS) forecast highs of 73–76°F under mostly clear skies, light northerly or northeasterly winds, and minimal cloud cover, with morning lows near 52–55°F. This follows a period of cooler, partly cloudy or drizzly weather earlier in the week (highs in the mid-to-upper 60s on September 15), as a ridge builds and allows stronger daytime heating. Forecast consensus across sources clusters tightly in the 73–76°F range, supporting the combined ~76.5% probability on 74–77°F bins while leaving limited room for outliers. Minor model variations in exact peak timing or boundary-layer mixing explain the spread across nearby bins, but no significant shifts (such as unexpected marine layer intrusion or stronger onshore flow) appear likely before resolution. Updated NWS and ensemble guidance over the next 24–48 hours will be the key data points for traders.
