Forecast models from the National Weather Service show New York City overnight lows on August 30 settling in the mid-to-upper 60s Fahrenheit, supported by clear skies, light winds, and radiational cooling under a stable high-pressure ridge. Recent surface observations indicate dew points near 60°F with minimal cloud cover expected, limiting heat retention while the urban heat island effect caps further drops. Historical late-August climatology for Central Park places average minima around 65°F, aligning with trader emphasis on the 66-67°F bin. Updated model consensus through early morning will refine these probabilities ahead of the resolution window.
