Recent National Weather Service and ensemble model guidance for New York City on September 11 projects an overnight low in the mid-to-upper 60s under clearing skies and northwest flow following a cold front, with urban heat island effects and limited radiational cooling supporting that range. Market-implied odds remain dispersed because forecast uncertainty persists around exact minimums, dew-point suppression, and any late-model shifts in wind or cloud cover that could push readings into the low 70s or mid-60s. Historical September 11 lows average near 63 °F, yet current warmer baseline conditions and model consensus favor milder outcomes; traders will watch the next 24–48 hours of updated NWS briefings and high-resolution runs for resolution-critical adjustments.
