**Roger Gronerth Pinedo of Somos Perú holds the lead at 57.5% in trader pricing ahead of the October 4, 2026, municipal election for the Maynas provincial mayoralty.** His position reflects the party’s recent incumbency—Somos Perú secured the post in 2022—and Gronerth’s own prior strong second-place finish, which together provide established organizational reach and name recognition in Loreto. Multiple lower-polling contenders, including Joel Parimango Álvarez of Alianza para el Progreso at 15.5% and a long tail of other registered candidates, continue to fragment the remainder of the field. With roughly five weeks until voting, the contest stays sensitive to last-minute campaign events, turnout patterns among regional voters, and any shifts in alliances or endorsements that could consolidate support behind one of the trailing options.
