Multiple tracks sit in a tight race for the #2 global Spotify spot heading into the August 28 chart week, with traders assigning near-even implied probabilities to several contenders. Recent daily and weekly data show Tame Impala’s “Loser” posting sharp gains and new peaks on streaming volume, while Malcolm Todd’s “Earrings” and Justin Bieber’s “Beauty and a Beat” maintain steady high placements, and Dominic Fike’s “Babydoll” and Shakira & Burna Boy’s “Dai Dai” remain within striking distance. These shifts reflect fluctuating daily streams rather than any single breakout event, with historical patterns of mid-summer volatility and overlapping fanbases keeping the outcome fluid until final weekly tallies lock in.
