Alibaba leads trader sentiment at 66.5% for best Chinese AI company by end of July 2026, reflecting its scale in cloud infrastructure, enterprise deployments, and recent Qwen 3.7-Max and multimodal agent releases that emphasize long-horizon reasoning, tool use, and integration with domestic chips. Z.ai (Zhipu) follows at 25% on the strength of GLM-5 series updates, its Hong Kong IPO, and pricing power in agentic workloads. Moonshot’s 8.6% incorporates its May $2 billion funding round at a $20 billion valuation and Kimi model traction in open-source usage. StepFun, ByteDance, and others trail amid narrower commercial footprints or less recent benchmark momentum, with probabilities shaped by model cadence, API adoption, and hardware ecosystem progress through mid-2026.
