The 2026 NFL Week 1 QBR market remains tightly bunched because most regular-season games have yet to be played, leaving outcomes dependent on matchup-specific execution across a full slate of starters. Established passers such as Josh Allen, Lamar Jackson, Joe Burrow, and Matthew Stafford enter with strong recent form and favorable or neutral defensive opponents, while Patrick Mahomes returns from a major knee injury and several teams feature new signal-callers including Malik Willis, Tua Tagovailoa, Kyler Murray, and Jacoby Brissett. Late roster resolutions, including quarterback competitions settled just before kickoff and the international game in Australia, add further variance. With no single QB holding a clear statistical edge entering the week and QBR highly sensitive to efficiency, volume, and opponent strength, trader consensus reflects broad parity among dozens of candidates.
