Recent streaming data shows a tight race for the #2 US Spotify spot heading into the August 28 weekly chart, with Malcolm Todd's "Earrings," Ella Langley's "Choosin' Texas," Steve Lacy's "oh yeah?," and Tame Impala's "Loser" clustered near the top behind Langley's likely #1. Daily charts reflect strong momentum for these tracks through rising streams and consistent platform traction, while Olivia Rodrigo's newer releases and Ariana Grande's "hate that i made you love me" lag significantly in the current rankings. The market's near-even odds capture this competitive landscape, where small shifts in daily plays or playlist placements could decide the outcome before the chart locks. Traders will watch midweek updates closely for any acceleration or slowdown among the frontrunners.
