Trader consensus on Polymarket tilts modestly toward 300k-350k first-week album equivalent units for Drake's Iceman (24.1% implied probability), reflecting the surprise drop of two companion albums today that risk cannibalizing streams and sales during the May 15-21 tracking week. Elaborate Toronto rollout hype—including CN Tower ice projections—and lingering beef momentum with Kendrick Lamar fueled pre-release buzz akin to For All The Dogs' 402k debut, but divided fan spending across projects tempers expectations against Drake's historical highs like Scorpion's 732k. Closely contested mid-range bins (all above 14%) hinge on early Spotify/Apple Music streams and Hits Daily Double midweeks; a breakout hit could push toward 400k+, while muted reception risks sub-300k.
