Current forecasts from multiple models indicate a high near 22–23°C for Cape Town on September 11, with partly to mostly cloudy skies and moderate southeasterly winds limiting daytime heating. Recent warmer conditions earlier in the week have given way to increased cloud cover and a stronger marine influence, consistent with typical spring variability in the region’s Mediterranean climate. Trader consensus reflected in the closely matched 22°C and 23°C outcomes aligns with ensemble guidance showing modest afternoon peaks under these conditions, while lower probabilities for 24°C+ or sub-21°C reflect uncertainty in exact cloud timing and wind strength. Updated runs from regional and global models ahead of the date will likely refine the range.
