**Current forecasts from multiple sources indicate a minimum temperature in Munich on September 3 around 13–14°C under partly cloudy skies and light westerly winds, consistent with the market’s leading outcomes clustered near 11–14°C.** High pressure (around 1022–1023 hPa) supports mild maritime air advection from the west, limiting strong cooling while allowing modest overnight radiative losses. Ensemble model spreads—particularly in cloud cover and boundary-layer mixing—create the observed tight probabilities, with 14°C edging ahead due to consensus on limited clear-sky cooling. Recent European patterns show an extension of the Azores anticyclone maintaining stable, above-average conditions for early September, with no major cold-air intrusions or frontal passages expected before the 3rd. Historical September 3 averages (high ~22°C, low ~12°C) provide context, but current guidance favors slightly milder minima. Key upcoming updates include next ECMWF and GFS runs, which could shift odds if cloud forecasts change. Traders appear to weigh these model uncertainties heavily given the narrow spread among top outcomes.

The resolution source for this market will be information from NOAA, specifically the lowest reading under the "Temp" column for all times on this day, available here: https://www.weather.gov/wrh/timeseries?site=eddm
If NOAA data for the observation date is unavailable by 11:59 PM ET on the day following the observation date, the Weather Underground Daily Observations table will be used as the resolution source.
In the event that there is no data for the observation date by 11:59 PM ET on the day following the observation date, this market will resolve to the lowest bracket.
To toggle between Fahrenheit and Celsius, click the "Switch to Metric Units" button until the relevant table displays °C.
This market will resolve once the first data point for the following date has been published on the resolution source, or by 11:59 PM ET on the day following the observation date, whichever comes first.
The resolution source for this market measures temperatures to whole degrees Celsius (eg, 9°C). Thus, this is the level of precision that will be used when resolving the market.
Revisions to temperatures recorded within this market's timeframe will be considered until the first datapoint for the following date has been published, after which any alterations will not be considered.
