The St. Louis Cardinals (37-28) enter the three-game series at Target Field holding a stronger record than the Minnesota Twins (30-38), sitting second in the NL Central while the Twins occupy third in the AL Central. Probable starters highlight Joe Ryan’s strong 3.07 ERA for Minnesota against Cardinals right-hander Kyle Leahy in the opener. Both clubs face notable absences, with Twins catcher Ryan Jeffers and starter Bailey Ober on the injured list alongside Cardinals infielder Ramón Urías and reliever Ryan Fernandez. Recent team form and home/away splits favor the visitors, though Target Field conditions and bullpen availability remain variables heading into the weekend slate.
