**Current forecasts for Singapore on September 6 point to a minimum temperature near 27°C under prevailing southwest monsoon conditions and below-average rainfall.** Dry, occasionally windy patterns linked to an ongoing El Niño event have suppressed nighttime radiative cooling, keeping overnight lows above the September climatological average of 25.2°C. Official guidance from the Meteorological Service Singapore highlights minimums remaining above 27°C on most nights in the first fortnight, with model consensus showing limited diurnal cooling amid high humidity and light southeast winds. Traders appear split because small shifts in cloud cover, localized showers, or urban heat-island effects could push the actual low a degree or two higher or lower, while historical extremes demonstrate that values below 23°C or above 28°C remain uncommon in September without major synoptic changes.
