Current numerical weather predictions for September 6 point to maximum temperatures near 33°C under prevailing southwest monsoon conditions with below-average rainfall. Drier air masses and occasional haze have supported afternoon highs in the 32–34°C range, consistent with Singapore's September climatology of mean maxima around 31.6°C but elevated by reduced cloud cover and limited convective cooling. Official Meteorological Service Singapore outlooks note daily maxima likely between 33–35°C through the fortnight, with localized thundery showers offering only modest relief. Traders appear to weigh model consensus favoring 33°C against the small risk of brief exceedances or measurement variability at official stations.
