**Current forecasts from multiple meteorological sources indicate a maximum temperature in Paris on September 4, 2026, most likely in the 27–29°C range under stable high-pressure conditions, light-to-moderate westerly winds, and mostly clear to partly cloudy skies with negligible precipitation risk.** This aligns with the market-implied probabilities favoring 28°C (43.5%) and 29°C (29.0%), as ensemble model outputs and agency guidance consistently project afternoon highs near or slightly above seasonal norms (typical early-September Paris maxima around 22–25°C). Key drivers include persistent anticyclonic flow suppressing cloud build-up and allowing strong diurnal heating, with minimal steering influences from Atlantic systems. Recent model runs through September 2 show little variance, supporting trader consensus around these central outcomes while assigning lower odds to outliers like 30°C+ or sub-27°C values due to the narrow uncertainty band in short-range guidance. Updated runs closer to the date will refine exact maxima and any minor wind or cloud adjustments.

The resolution source for this market will be information from NOAA, specifically the highest reading under the "Temp" column for all times on this day, available here: https://www.weather.gov/wrh/timeseries?site=lfpb
If NOAA data for the observation date is unavailable by 11:59 PM ET on the day following the observation date, the Weather Underground Daily Observations table will be used as the resolution source.
In the event that there is no data for the observation date by 11:59 PM ET on the day following the observation date, this market will resolve to the lowest bracket.
To toggle between Fahrenheit and Celsius, click the "Switch to Metric Units" button until the relevant table displays °C.
This market will resolve once the first data point for the following date has been published on the resolution source, or by 11:59 PM ET on the day following the observation date, whichever comes first.
The resolution source for this market measures temperatures to whole degrees Celsius (eg, 9°C). Thus, this is the level of precision that will be used when resolving the market.
Revisions to temperatures recorded within this market's timeframe will be considered until the first datapoint for the following date has been published, after which any alterations will not be considered.
