Recent National Weather Service and model consensus forecasts indicate a typical early-September marine layer pattern for Los Angeles, with morning low clouds and fog giving way to partial afternoon clearing under southwest winds around 15 mph. This setup supports daily highs near the long-term September 4 average of 76.7°F, positioning the 76-77°F bin as the market leader at 53.5% implied probability. Nearby bins at 78-79°F (31.5%) and 74-75°F (9%) capture the narrow uncertainty range across downtown versus coastal stations, while higher outcomes like 80-81°F remain low-probability given the absence of offshore flow or ridging that would drive greater warming. Updated guidance through September 2 reinforces this stable regime with no significant shifts expected before resolution.
