Singapore's Meteorological Service outlook for early September highlights prevailing southwest monsoon conditions and below-average rainfall, supporting daily maximum temperatures of 33–35°C on most days amid fair, occasionally windy weather. This aligns with the market's strong 70% implied probability on 33°C for September 4, as recent model runs and official guidance point to afternoon peaks near that level under dry, sunny conditions with limited cloud cover. Localized thundery showers remain possible in the late morning or afternoon, introducing minor uncertainty that could moderate the high toward 32°C (24.5% implied probability) if they develop earlier than expected. Historical September baselines and current low precipitation trends reinforce the elevated temperature range, though forecast updates from the National Environment Agency could shift sentiment ahead of resolution.
